Looks like Frank has the situation under control :D

(+,+,+)Dazzling color and finish detail in a composition that pulls the eye to the center like a vortex makes this piece work for me. (-)The figure at the center, however, shows several strong right angles, which compromises line of action and conflicts with this dynamic composition.

In his book, Comics Crash Course, Vincent Giarrano warns about how right angles in a pose can make the figure look stiff or awkward.

Solution: An acute or obtuse angle in the knee and/or arm, and more tilting of the body, either right or left, so that it passes diagonally in front of the window (instead of alligning with it to reinforce those nasty right angles) are two ways I would explore in attacking the problem.

Appreciated Patrick, all around. After working in the villains, I left myself a bit painted in a corner with conceivable angles. Perhaps a little more forethought next time.

HA! Absolutely, thanks for stopping by.

Glad it didn't rub the wrong way, Cobra. Maybe it would have, if I'd held up my Archie Punisher as an example? (Actually, his pose would fit nicely in your scene! Even without feet!)
Good luck in the competition.

By this point in my career my skins made of a Teflon/Kevlar hybrid. The BS slides off and the crits just keep me learning.

Oh, and Archie should be packin', Riverdale's not as nice as it used to be... and never...never turn your back on Weatherby ;)

i wonder, is that his only shirt, does he have to wash it at least once a week, or does he have several? lol

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

HA! "Oxyclean Once a week, It gets the blood out." Now that's a tagline. Thanks for looking.
:iconjamesq:
Nicely done, sir.
